Jim Craige is one of the founding partners of Stone Harbor Investment Partners, LP - an investment management boutique specializing in emerging markets debt and credit strategies globally. Jim and his fellow partners founded Stone Harbor in early 2006 after 15 years of working together at Salomon Brothers Asset Management. Focusing on emerging markets, Jim has traveled extensively throughout many countries in Latin America, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Salomon Brothers in 1992, Jim worked at Shearson Lehman Asset Management as an equity analyst. Jim, who was born and raised in Vermont, is a 1989 graduate of the University of Vermont and currently resides with his wife Leslie and three children in Lakeville, CT and New York City.
Jim has always loved cars, and has done many Porsche DE events, but did not get exposure to racing until 1999 when his brother, Steve, gave him and his wife, a Skip Barber driving school gift certificate as a wedding present. Jim followed this school up with further racing instruction from Skip Barber and began competing in the Skip Barber Regional Race Series. A runner-up in the 2005 Eastern Series Championship, Jim currently races a Formula Mazda with Skip Barber and competes in endurance races with the SCCA in a Spec Miata. Jim was attracted to the Club at Lime Rock Park for many reasons, among them, the desire to establish a fun, vibrant, active, membership that enjoys motor sports, the ease of arranging many track days, the establishment of a Club that his family can enjoy, and because he did not want to see the track become a golf course.
Rob Nimkoff was raised in Westport, Connecticut and now resides in Weston, CT with his wife, 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. After graduating from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Commercial Real Estate, Rob moved to New York City and joined his family's real estate business. He became involved in commercial property management, financing and lease negotiations for several years prior to working in the company's seafood division. Rob found that real estate did not interest him nearly as much as the exotic flavor, international travel and interesting people the seafood industry offered. Rob then focused on business expansion, importation, production and wholesale of a variety of seafood products from around the world. In 2004, Rob started his own seafood business - Albren Seafood LLC - focusing solely on the importation of specially packaged lobster tails, which are directly marketed to retail outlets and supermarkets.
Rob has always loved cars, especially his 1973 V-2 E-type. However, in 2000 Rob attended his first Skip Barber event, and he was hooked! Since then Rob has participated in many Skip Barber events and races, as well as track days, in his 2003 BMW M5 - extensively modified by Dinan. As Rob's passion for auto-racing increased he became an instructor for BMW clubs, and is moving into a dedicated track car after tracking his M5 for many years. Rob was attracted to the Club at Lime Rock Park for many reasons, among them, the ease of arranging many track days at a track Rob knows and loves; Also, being able to continue driving with friends he's made from many other clubs who continue to enjoy Lime Rock Park.
Rob contributed to our press release announcing the Guest Member Day program by stating, "It's especially exciting to have this Guest Member Day program being launched against a backdrop of major upgrades to the track. I think it is phenomenal that Club members will be able to share their experience with guest members while construction is underway to improve the track."

Matt has a collection of vintage cars focused on "specials" generally from the 1940s to1950s, including Bonneville, hill climb and road racing record holders, most owned by interesting racing automotive personalities. Among them are a Baldwin, the Paul Sylva Special, the Johnny Wright Special, Von Dutch's 1913 Henderson Midget Racer, Paul Scheiffer's 1948 USAC Sprint Car, a '41 Olds Special and a Pikes Peak car - the Max Day Insurance Special, aka "The Purple People Eater."
Matt has been a long-time fan of Lime Rock Park and has participated in a number of events there. He joined the Club at Lime Rock as much for the historic preservation of the track and camaraderie of "car nuts" as the track days and events.
Matt was quoted in our Associate Membership press release as saying, "I've spoken with many prospective members who would love the Lime Rock Park experience, but need another option now to charter membership. I believe this new Associate Membership addresses their need."
